Welcome to Manthorpe Preschool Playgroup!
Established in 1967, our playgroup has been a cherished part of the community for decades and continues to thrive today. We provide term-time care for children aged 9 months old and above, up until they start school. Please note that we are closed during school holidays.
We are proudly registered with Ofsted—the government body that inspects and regulates services caring for children. Our setting can accommodate up to 32 children per session.
You’ll find us in a peaceful village location, complete with our own spacious car park for easy access.
Our dedicated team of staff are highly experienced, fully qualified, and committed to providing the best possible care. We also offer three beautiful outdoor areas where children can explore, play, and learn including our new forest garden.
Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child feels happy and valued. We celebrate each child as an individual and deliver a broad and balanced curriculum based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. We work closely with parents, carers, and the local community, all within an inclusive and equal opportunities setting.
We offer Early Years Entitlement (EYE) funding for all eligible children from 9 months of age. To find out more, please visit: www.childcarechoices.gov.uk. Funding starts at the beginning of the term following your child’s eligibility—September, January, or April.
